Meet Our Donors
Molly and Jeff Hillmann
"We adopted our first dog from the shelter when we were in our mid-twenties. From that day on, we knew we would leave everything we had to the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) when we passed.
WHS has several locations across Wisconsin that care for all kinds of domestic animals—not just one type or breed like many rescues. They even have a wildlife rehabilitation center in Milwaukee! WHS also offers public low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination programs, pet food pantries, youth programs, and many outreach and community support programs for people and their pets. Because of this, we feel the money we leave can be used to make the biggest possible impact for animals in need.
While WHS doesn't turn away any stray or surrendered animals who come into their care, they don't euthanize animals for lack of space or time. Every animal in the adoption program is given all the time they need to find a new home. And those that are suffering without chance of recovery are given a humane ending with love and dignity. This in itself is very important to both of us. If you love animals and want to help them for years to come, WHS is the easy choice for designating your planned gift."
